This is an ongoing research project. We are determining significant variables associated with underutilization of regional center services. This analysis will help pinpoint key factors contributing to the issue, such as demographic characteristics, geographical distribution, service type, or other relevant variables. We are establishing and running focus groups with clients to gain deeper insights into the experiences and needs of families. By combining quantitative data analysis with qualitative insights from focus groups, the research aims to create a positive and sustainable impact on the utilization of services and resources at SCLARC.
